A gift of flowers

Last night a young man and his mum delivered a posy of flowers to say thank you for caring for their garden when they were on holiday recently. It was good to see Mum again as she was the lady that hurt her ankle a few weeks ago.

A neighbour who is also a friend from knitting and natter came round to have a session on planning. She’s not very experienced and wants to knit a jumper for her son from a larger pattern. We have got started, I’ve given her instructions on how to do her tension square.

Amber and Olive were curious as to who she was, but after a sniff and a lick, wandered off to sleep in the kitchen.

S collected Olive after work and they are off camping for the night. I just have to remember to give the cats their breakfast in the morning.

TV tonight is my gardening programs, whilst I’ve asked B to water the plants in the garden. Division of labour !!!
