Hot hot hot (27C)

Well hot by our standards. Mr B went for a hit and called to say that there was nice breeze going down into town. So we met up in the Botanist for a small lunch.

The novelty is wearing off a bit. They only really have one vegan offer - Tofu, served with Pita- apart from burgers.

Was much hotter by the time we left. Was happy to get home again and an ice-pad to cool my feet.

Mr. B made a fabulous salad. I also prepared a large bowl of grated beetroot, Bramley apple, carrot, red onion, finally using the two beetroot from my friend's allotment. Made a dressing with lemon, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, maple syrup. Something you don't get in restaurants.

Now watching Bournemouth v Liverpool. Opening match of the 25/26 Premier League Season. Can but pray.
