Sedum

This morning I picked runner beans - another trug full.

Then, before I lost the energy, I spent an hour pulling grass, bracken, nettles and brambles from under the hedge.

W meanwhile woke feeling distinctly under par, and around lunchtime retired back to bed.  Fortunately the extra sleep seems to have perked him up, and we spent some time blanching the runner beans, before dinner.

And this evening he's been out with the hose, as the veggie beds were looking very dry.

Love sedum at this time of year - a veritable insect magnet!
