A survey early doors then a trip out to Milngavie to pick up a pair of walking boots fomr Facebook Marketplace.  I dentical to my old ones that are no longer available, worn 3 times and wre only £35!  Bargain!

Except I was less than 10 minutes away when I get a message saying someone else had turned up for them and could I cancel or was I on my way...  When I eventually found a place to stop and message back I told her I was 5 minutes out and no we could not cancel.  Nothing.

I turn up and she tells me the other girl took them.  I was raging!  "She came all the way from Larbert".  I pointedly told her I had come all the way form Stirling.  "But you didn't reply to my message",  I was driving!!!

And you told me they were still available!!!  Why say they were available when someone else said they were coming???

Her friend said that she was mortified and I nearly said "So she f'n should be!!!"  But I didn't, I was gracious and swore like buggery when I got back in the car to drive the 50 minutes back home....   Grrrrrrrrr!
