Friday: Colour Selection
We started the day with a trip to the tip and a bit of excitement on the way. As we pulled into the main road by our house, there was a driver who had just pulled out of a side street and whose car was blocking traffic. Turns out his car had broken down and was completely unresponsive. With the help of another passing driver we managed to push his car off the road.
It didn’t end there, though. He had his young son in the car to take to the childminder. Long story short, we hastily rearranged the contents of the car (bearing in mind it was full of tip stuff), gave them both a lift to the childminder and then took Dad back to his car to get it sorted. He was gone by the time we drove home later so hopefully things got sorted.
On a more mundane note, I know you are all on tenterhooks to find out the colour of the front door. Due to the heat we can’t paint at the moment, but the door is primed and displaying a test panel that can best be described as raspberry. Needless to say I will also share the end result so stand by!
And, for an added treat, I have included my shadow.
