Floating

We went down to the beach at Hayling this morning. The tide was low so we had lots of sand to walk on and shallow water to paddle in. Merlin had a wonderful time running in and out of the sea, especially so for us being in the water too. Floating within the sparkling water were many different brightly coloured seaweeds.

It’s been a hot day (29 degrees) so this afternoon we all relaxed inside. I had a quick walk to the allotment late this afternoon where I felt as if I were in the south of France with the heat, sunflowers and abundant vegetables.

This evening we’ve had watched the Wes Anderson film ‘Asteroid City’ - enlarged on the wall using Andy’s son’s projector. We very much enjoyed the cinematography and acting but we are still trying to figure out the meaning within the storyline.
