Newmarket nights

A lovely warm evening at Newmarket Racecourse, starting with a picnic in the car park, some horseracing (and betting), and finally a concert with Ball & Boe - fabulous!  Congratulations to Kerri for organising sunshine and to Ken for actually winning some money.

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe were great, they sang feel good musical numbers and covers that the crowd could join in with, including songs from Les Mis, my favourite west end show.   Unfortunately there was a medical situation very close to us when Michael Ball was singing the heart-breaking 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables' and he had to stop.
