3919. Thermometer

We’ve had several of these and have always managed to break them so hopefully this one will last a bit longer.  My husband has an awful habit of perching it on the end of the windowsill!  I’ve had to move our chrome  fancy bottle opener that looks like a bird perched as we had it on a glass side table, he knocked it over twice this week so it’s moved out of the way!  Meeting my son for coffee then everyone for lunch as usual. I had a phone call from the cardiac nurse yesterday and she asked me if I wanted her to continue phoning me every 10 days or so, I decided to say no as I’m sure she’s really busy and I’ve got a review clinic appointment in September which is only a couple of weeks away.  I can always phone her if I’m concerned about anything.  They have been so good with me and I feel that I’m now accepting where I am and that this is going to move slowly over months.
