TGIF…!

..: for all these happy folk at the pub by the river in Richmond this evening!

We began the day with my appointment at Guys Hospital dental department and discussion on implants and bone surgery. Helpful and lots to think about. I do have enough teeth to be able to manage without an implant but the gap still feels enormous! Healing well though and how to proceed if I want, to will be reviewed in two months time.

Once up here we decided to use the day and took a tube to Westminster and a river trip to Kew. From there we took a bus to Richmond and sat by the river watching the efforts of those who’d hired rowing boats but didn’t quite get the hang of rowing. In fact, we watched three boats being towed back to the hire point at closing time. It was a skill our dad taught us and I’m determined to put it into practice soon!

Walking back to Richmond past this pub, it was great to have been able to enjoy our day and then to pass these folk begin their evening and weekend. A beautiful weather day again.
