Taking a Break

The Trumpet Vine is winding down its blooming season. The Hummingbirds will be disappointed as will Winslow.  The birds will be heading south soon, and this one took a break to provide a good profile for me to photograph. It is cooler today and much less humidity which is wonderful.  I plan a visit to the lake.  I heard from John and although he is improving, he is still not back to normal so my little helper will be here next week.  Before I know it, it will be time to cut back the garden.  It will be a bit earlier this year due to the drought, I fear.
