Worm's Eye Fuchsia

Well, another day too hot for me. So once again, my wanderings were close to home.

This is the last of our fuchsias. The others are all done for now, but this tiny, dwarf fuchsia is valiantly fighting on, although, it's starting to look a little weathered now.

I had to get very low on the ground, much to my poor knee's annoyance, to get this shot. The whole plant is pretty close to the ground in fact, and once the flowers hang down, well it's cosying up to the worms time if you want a shot.

I didn't catch any pollinators today, but it does attract them.

I am now going to jump into a bucket of ice and bring my temperature down before I combust.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend.
