New bench

Early walk to pick up paper was very pleasant and when I popped down to fruit and veg shop later it was warm but not hot, same on our afternoon walk. We went onto the green line behind our house, where Hetty was found a few days ago, and walked along to the memorial post (extra) and found a new bench that was not there last time we were there. It must have taken some effort to get it there as there is no vehicle access.
The post was erected a few years ago in memory of the guy who set up friends of the green line and got the community involved in maintaining it, all the other plates are dogs that loved walking up there. The bench is also dedicated to a dog and donated by her family, how sweet.
Sorted clothes for holiday, ironed , and made a mushroom flan. Finished my book so need to choose a big one next to last the holiday, or perhaps take two.
