Grateful For A Clear Blue Sky

No room anywhere in Falmouth today, the council were out in the early hours laying out the “No Parking”, “Road Closed” and “Diversion” signs on all the roads anywhere near the beach front and approaches.

Since the Farnborough Air Show crash caused the rule change all aerial displays are now performed over open, unpopulated areas. In our case this is over the sea, out in the bay. It has its advantages as many more people now have a grandstand view due to the long curve of the bay.
They were, as usual, outstanding, precision, colourful, flying which has the crowds oohing and aahing and then all too quickly it’s finished and they head off to Exeter Airport.

We have a grandstand view from our bedroom window and though there wasn’t much of it Paddy didn’t seem put off by the noise although at one point he preferred to play wrestle on the bed.
