Olden Times

I took this photo today of some very old farm machinery. Early agricultural engineers designed and built machines which revolutionised farming. Huge improvements were made in efficiency and yields which helped feed a rapidly gowing and increasingly urban population. Such advances also changed the social fabric of the countryside and were not welcome by all.
