Fun at Colby

Tony and I left early to take part in Colby Parkrun, just fifteen minutes away, set in NT Colby Woodland Garden.  The family joined us afterwards (and a couple of hundred park runners) for drinks and cakes at the Cafe and then we spent some time in the walled garden.  Euan was taken with this water feature and spent some considerable time damming it with his feet and floating petals down it, pooh sticks style.

From there we attempted to park near the beach at Tenby but, unsurprisingly, everyone had the same idea on this lovely, sunny day and there was no space.  Plan B was to call in at the very good farm shop and pick up lunch for back at the house, after which it was agreed to have a quiet afternoon in the garden.  Sound idea.  We took it in turns to keep Euan occupied until dinner time when he was allowed to watch tv whilst we prepped the food.
