Zoo Veldhoven

My Nijmegen brother's birthday was early August. It has become a tradition that he invites my Amsterdam brother and me for a zoo visit. We went today. 

The zoo originated as a refuge for parrots and other birds that were abandoned by private owners. Slowly the refuge grew. Still lots of birds, but we also saw meerkat, lemur, camels,  kangaroos and more.
