Gone Fishing

Today's haul of finished work included three fish dishes.   They're all bright colours, this perhaps the best of them.

Another hot day, too hot mostly but thankfully a cool, gusty wind took the edge off the heat while C and I walked the Megs after breakfast.   The bulk of the rest of the day was filled with chores.   Four loads of laundry - two were bedding - and the big spare bedroom readied for Ruth's visit later in the week.   Too hot for gardening, those jobs have to wait.   

Before tea I popped to pottery to drop off a couple of things and pick up my load of fish.   While there a message came in from work which has re-organised my plans for Sunday.   I'm covering the kitchen at Aber Cafe for the greater part of the day.   It's still going to be too hot for getting on with outdoor jobs, so it could be worse but I have a very busy week ahead, including a round trip to Birmingham on Thursday.   

A singing practice tonight, rehearsing for a performance next weekend.   Mostly it went well but there was a little tension that, unusually, got under my skin.   It will pass!
