When I took this photo, I saw all the burned trees to the right of the photo.


This subdivision is where one of our boys and his family live. Their home was only partially damaged by the extreme heat.


Extra: This was the fire that came over the mountain 2 years ago.  They lived with us for 5 weeks while the power was restored and the water mains cleaned and flushed to their subdivision. 45 homes were destroyed..in just that one area...hundreds more burned on that side of the lake..and 25 or so when the flames jumped the lake on our side..
