Travelled back from Edinburgh today after a fab week at the festivals. Lots of sunny weather and no rain, and lovely to spend more time in D’s new flat and to explore the neighbourhood a bit more.
The stand out for me was Mary Queen of Scots(Scottish Ballet) , followed closely by Orpheus and Euridyce and then Lost Lear.
The journey home was uneventful though not surprisingly very busy. Put a load of washing on when I got home and then drove to East Leake to collect my altered bedroom curtains . They’re not quite how I expected- will have to see how I feel about them in a few days. Called in at the supermarket on the way home, unpacked, hung the laundry out and made a birthday cake for my brother.
