Wiltshire
My flying visit to Cornwall came to an end and I headed home with a planned stop in Wiltshire to see B.
The A30 was awful all the way to Exeter. The A303 was better , just slower on the single lanes. I arrived at Bs (who lives 5 mins off the A303) after4:10 hours….it’s usually 3 hours.
A quick cuppa and then she wanted to take me on a walk around the village as they had table top sales scattered here and there. First going along the river where I grabbed this blip. We stopped for a drink at one of the stalls where we sat and chatted with her village friends. Once back to hers I headed off straight away as time was moving on. It’s always lovely to see her and Mr C and I will be staying next month to visit the beer festival in their village.
I arrived home at 6:30pm having left Cornwall at 10am. 6 hours of actual driving.
