The Front Yard (Sunday 17th August 2025)
The hot dry weather this week has not been good for the garden. So far the acers have survived but yesterday the leaves of my young wisteria curled up and then dropped off. My crocosmia leaves have all gone brown and crinkly but overnight a flower surprisingly appeared, so that's my blip.
In other news, the juvenile robin is now very sleek and adult looking. It comes very close to me when I'm gardening without fear.

Aldous Harding - The Barrel (2019)
My pick from this morning's Cerys Matthews R6M show, introduced by Bobby Friction. He enthused over the bass clarinet. This comes from the album Designer.
