Cosmos

A quiet day of rest and recovery. G goes for a bike ride, but I stay at home, tidying and starting to sort out packing for Namibia. I’m determined to avoid the last minute panic this time - but the best laid plans etc ……..

Our only excursion is a walk up the hill to an Open Garden - not part of the official scheme, but interesting nonetheless.  Sigrid and Christian have established a wild organic garden full of interesting flowers and vegetables, and on a day like today, it’s a little paradise - though too wild for G who likes a ‘tidy garden’. 

Today’s blip is a single cosmos from our visit- for some reason I didn’t think to take a general photograph of the garden!
