Say "Cheese"

Back in the day my Dad would say “Say Cheese!” as he forgot to remove the lens cap, fiddled with the f stops and focussed in and out, stepped a pace back to get the dog in the frame. All by which time our already forced smiles were evolving into rictus grins. Invariably one of the group would have their eyes closed as the shutter fired. Nowadays “Cheese” has been replaced with a ten minute Tik Tok performance.
