Outsourcing.

I left the one with the teeny tiny teeths snoring on the bed this morning and headed out, not quite as early as I planned, for my run. It's only three more weekends until the first of my autumn race series and the hot weather hasn't helped my training. I just about managed the distance I wanted, give or take a few hundred yards but stopped early as I'd said I'd meet a friend for breakfast at her deli. I did have to go round the block to round it up; she laughed.

Home to grass cutting and a bit of hunter gathering for tonight's chicken dinner. The veggies will all come from the garden /allotment but chickens have to be outsourced.

I'm still loving the weather but am definitely looking forward to so e rain. Assuming we ever get any.
