Thistle Do Nicely

Another cool, grey start to the day..it is so nice being able to walk (3.6 miles today) without melting! Cooler days means cooler nights…so much better for sleeping. Still got the windows open at night though…and I actually had to pull a sheet over me for the first time in weeks.

The thistle flowers are going over now and producing masses of these fluffy white seedheads.

The red kite that I blipped a couple of days ago is back today ( I presume it is the same one). It is In the same tree top and it has been calling all day. It is very loud!

Still not managed a decent photo of the cats…running out of time…they are due to go home tomorrow!
