Painted!

(Well, two walls....)  What an exhausting day - especially for Tim - but we're both super happy with the result.  Masking taping the edges took him ages - so many bits and pieces to go round!  And then we had a bit of a crisis with the paint - we'd had the colour mixed for us from three different colours, but when we opened the tin, it was virtually black.  Fairly sure they must have added too much pigment.  But we tried mixing in a bit of white, and actually managed to get back to the original colour we'd been aiming for.  Phew!  All of that took ages though, so Tim couldn't start painting until after lunch.  I mucked in and did some of the awkward bits - and also popped out to Lidl to get a few things we needed.  It was a busy day.  Hot too - by the end (on the second coat), the paint was so thick, and Tim was so knackered, but thankfully it all came together perfectly in the end.

Still have to paint the other two walls ('pebble'), but we're saving that for another day....
