Roaring waves

The photo really needs sound adding. The noise from the waves was tremendous - you could hear it from the car park - a ten minute walk away.

I don’t usually try to get to the beach on a Sunday afternoon in August. But I looked at the webcam and saw the waves - this bit of sea is usually flat and calm. I got the last space in the car park. The wind was really strong and blowing sand around. I actually felt COLD for the first time in a long time.
