Dreamy view

We left home around 9.45 and sat nav was saying eta of 12.45....... then it all went a bit pete tong.  Around 45 minutes into our journey OH realised he had left his suit behind - hanging on the door of the wardrobe!  We had no alternative than to turn around and add 1.5 hours to our journey.  By the time we were back at the same spot the traffic had built up and our eventual eta was almost 3.00 (two hours late for lunch).  B&P were delighted to see us and excellent hosts so the time delay didn't matter.  We chatted and laughed and remembered old times.  We stayed until around 6.30 and left for the next stage of our journey not realising it was another 2 hour drive!! 

However we arrived at the hotel which was perfect and beautifully fitted out (newly refurbished in March) and had a quick drink at the bar before bed.

The view is from their garden - a tad better than previous house in Kent.
