Abandonado
As we get the feel for our new valley, we are finding all sorts of new walks and places we can get to very quickly [which is always better, more time walking, less time driving].
Today we drove the short distance to walk up the Garcipollera valley to the delightful small church of Santa Maria de Iguacel. There are many abandoned villages along the valley, a legacy of state expropriation during the building of the Yesa reservoir.
