Beaten by Bobby in Bath

Well that was far too hot for running a half marathon. But I still did it because I’d paid. Got to get my money’s worth you see.

Thankfully the first 3miles were through two old railway tunnels which provided welcome shelter and cooler air from the heat. But the rest was in blazing heat.

Afterwards went to the Thermae Spa which was too hot and busy. Shuffled around between the ‘Wellness’ rooms sweating. Where’s the cold shower?
