Camden Town

A fairly relaxed morning before our train to London at midday…pots were all soaked again and the dry laundry was sorted. Both the dish washer and washing machine have had cleaning cycles done so I should go home to a relatively clean and tidy house!

The train journey went without delay or mishap and we were checked into our hotel by 4.15 this afternoon…we were asked if we wanted a quiet room or one with a view but I think we struck lucky on both counts. A walk to St Pancras to work out where we need to be in the morning then a quick shop at M&S for some supplies for the trip…after dumping these in the fridge back at the room we set out to walk to the river. We had a short diversion by the Foundling Museum so I could take some pics for the WI. We didn’t make it to the river before our feet and stomachs got the better of us and we turned about and headed back to the hotel for something to eat. L is now in the shower and I’ll be following suit very soon…we’ve an early start tomorrow.
