Star Wars
I was up and out early today, though not as early as on a workday. I took the bus to Edinburgh, then headed to Waverley Station to catch a train to Perth, where I was met by my friend G.
We had a wander, looking in a few shops. I bought some lovely bread and pizza, and a couple of cheap t-shirts. G is a teacher and bought a couple of things for going back to school. We had a very lovely and leisurely lunch at Cafe Tabou. We’ve not been for quite a long time, and both really enjoyed our lunch and our catch up. We then headed to one more shop that G wanted to look 8n, before she dropped me at the train station. I had just missed a direct train, so ended up having to change at Stirling. I got off at Haymarket and emerged into a sea of Oasis fans. I wasn’t sure if my bus would be running to time, and was pleased when it appeared. It did take an absolute age to then get along Princes Street. I just got stuck into my book.
The boys were about to make steaks for their tea. I wasn’t very hungry, so just had some toast. Later there was a bit of TV.
These guys were fundraising in the station this morning. There were bringing so much joy to so many people, young and old!
