Adventure

I am not on the run as my husband says, but I am on an adventure. I took yesterday’s photo in the capital from the bus to the airport. When I saw the house, I thought it looked like it had grown out in different directions, but it was just an imaginative architect who has been at work. Reinier de Graaf is the architect. The two buildings currently contains 320 residences.

The journey has been rather stressfuI. I will keep you in suspense a little longer and not reveal where I am. I think you enjoy guessing.:-) And now you get many clues.
This is what it looked like from the air just before we landed. My husband's clue is: It is not really Wide West or Wild West.

Extras:
After a bus ride of a few hours, we have arrived at our first destination. There I saw a cute river, which apparently is one of Europe’s shorter rivers.
Then I saw a guy painting an advertisement on a house; I guess it was for the business in the house the advertisement was about.
The weather? Warm, much warmer than it usually is.
Three clues, what do you think?
