Borage honey

The bees in these hives don't have to fly far to find nectar.  Apparently the honey is not blue, but light, white and runny.  

We won't have honey this year from our bees as the stores they are making now they will need.   Bees don't hibernate, but mostly stay in the hive, generating heat with their bodies, and need plenty of resources to stay alive.

That suits me, it is already a steep learning curve and if we manage to get through the winter we will be much better prepared for Spring 2026...
