Morning walk

I set off with factor 50 on and carrying my UV umbrella. The brolly is an absolute Godsend this weather. It wasn't long before I used it - you feel so much cooler under it.
Photo is of the lake in Taylor Park from the bench I was having a minute on.
I walked down to Taylor Park, part way around the lake and through to the fishing lake. I walked part way around the fishing lake but doubled back rather than disturb the lone angler who was up ahead.
I walked through the trees there back to the park but cut out of the park to the streets and meandered my way to the main road. I wasn't sure how far I'd go but as I reached the shires bus stop I checked when the 89 was due and it was three minutes away. As usual it was a little late but not too bad.
Back home for lunch.
Done bits of housework this afternoon but not a lot and the day has flown by.
Didn't feel very hungry at teatime but made cauliflower cheese as I remembered we had a washed and segmented cauli in the fridge that we hadn't got around to eating. The remaining parts may end up in the compost bin but we'll see.
Have been looking at holiday photos (on whatsapp) sent today from my son John (on holiday in Kusadasi, Turkey with his partner Sandy and their son Amrit) and my granddaughter Caroline (on holiday in Corsica with her partner Mark and their two boys, Isaac and Elliott). Both looked beautiful places.
Oh! Forgot to mention that we watched (on TV) Saints play Huddersfield (Rugby League) and Saints won 52-4. We were made up.
