Golden Leaves at the RUH

Hospital at Home doc visited first thing, deemed Dad being at home wasn't working and wasn't good for either of us. Readmitted back to hospital in Bath by ambulance. We were the only ambulance, no long wait, soon back on the ward where Dad was first admitted just over 8wk ago. News from consultant and HaH doc very worrying. Optimistic plan, discharge to respite care home Wednesday. But he may never recover enough to leave hospital...

To top off the day my bus didn't turn up so sat at bus stop for an hour and didn't get home until just before 9pm. The house feels horribly empty...
