Family Fun

We had such a special, gentle, morning at church today. One of our women shared her story, which was pretty amazing to hear. 
Afterwards Nathalie and Steven invited us to their place for a BBQ with her parents. They look after a fancy villa and live on site, so when the owner is away they can use the pool area! So we got to share that joy today. Really wonderful to hear Sjak's stories of flying for MAF all over Southern Africa, and being part of Mercy Ships too. So many stories, the man needs to write a book!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The kids getting on so well, including in various combinations, despite age gaps.
2) Church this morning and all that's happening there. I was in the last part of the pre service Alpha, listening to a new guy talk about how he feels this beacon of light in his home and family and he's just so full of joy.
3) A spontaneous afternoon together with these guys. Totally wonderful. Love the growing friendship here.
