Learning to dive

Church this morning and then to a friends for lunch before taking her to an appt - there wasn't really time to come home in between the two.
She had an MRI scan at the hospital and once delivered back home I went for a walk in the sunshine down to the ponds. The ducks have done well this year, absolutely loads of youngsters.
More IT frustration this evening. I had successfully transferred stuff from one laptop to the new one but decided I don't like Edge as a browser so wanted to continue with Chrome. Microsoft don't like you doing this and so when I did several features stopped working (including the virus protection) and I had to go into sites all over again and sign in - and re-install some things. (I still don't know what's working and what's not but I've had enough for a day. I'm just hoping my saved passwords haven't gone, though I think I should still be able to use them even if I have to use the other browser.
This all strikes me as breaking monopoly laws, has anyone else had the same issues and what do people think?
