Silhouette

Rocky the cat has his own little garden chair that he likes to make use of on a warm sunny afternoon. Rather than a conventional view I was drawn to capturing his silhouette on the canvass back of the chair. The vertical shadow is the stem of a plant in the facing flower bed.

In its plural form silhouette was also one of the hit records achieved by the 60s Manchester band, Herman's Hermits.
