Happy Birthday !

I have had a lovely relaxed birthday ! I went in early to the West End and the early plainsong service at St Mary's which was extraordinary beautiful and was back on time for coffee with Jim. I first went to the cathedral  when I was 18 years old - and love it's open ethos and wonderful music. 
Nothing else was planned as we are just home from Uist - a gentle day in the garden. My sister and John came for tea and cake and it was lovely to see them both. M  had a knee replacement operation 3 weeks ago  and is in a lot of pain so it was a short visit. Later this evening,  a neighbour friend visited with a lovely gift and we walk back through the village with her. A nice end to the day.
