Cesar Manrique

I did not know about Cesar Manrique until the guide to Timanfaya National Park told us about him yesterday. Cesar was unfortunately killed in a car accident. During his lifetime he devoted himself to maintaining the art and culture of Lanzarote. Buildings like the one in the background of the blip cannot be constructed nowadays in Lanzarote because of laws the Cesar helped draft.
