A Day With Tookie and Big R

Tookie and I went to see the troll known as Ole Bolle by Thomas Dambo in Metzger OR. I had not heard of it and was pleasantly surprised when we came upon it. Quite a sight.

Later the three of us drove south to Swan Island Dahlias in Canby. That place reminded me of the tulip gardens in Skagit County WA. There were fields of flowers and a gathering place with music, food, a shop and decorative gardens. I was charmed by all the different varieties of dahlias. It was lovely.
