Bike Selfie

As per the title, me on my bike.

For those that are interested... I set the camera up to take one shot per second and to focus on any vehicle that entered the frame. I then put the camera on a small tripod and left that on the outside of the roundabout for the main, and the inside for the extra, while I rode around in circles for a while. The roundabout, on the salubrious Canvey Island, was chosen as I could see any approaching traffic, from all directions, a good time in advance. This allowed me to modify my riding and/or stop by/near the camera to make sure it wasn’t nicked. The roundabout was really a bit small to repeatedly circumnavigate comfortably but was the the only semi-suitable one within 20 miles of my home. All in all, despite having to stop early due to diesel being spilt on the road by a truck, I’m quite pleased with the result.
