On the nose?
Just before sunset this afternoon I photographed what everyone calls a nasturtium. When I googled the word, Wikipedia assured me that, botanically speaking, nasturtium is a different plant. The plant I photographed, with the widely-used common name of nasturtium, has the botanical nameTropaeolum.
They are not closely related, but what they have in common is peppery tasting leaves (also flowers and fruit in the case of 'garden' nasturtium).
I also learned that the Latin botanical name nasturtium means twisted nose - for the effect that the plant's peppery flavour, when eaten, has on some people.
