Sunday: Paint Procurement

An exciting trip to B&Q to purchase the rest of the paint for the front door. Hopefully the coming days will see the completion of that particular project. Stay tuned, Blipworld!

The rest of the day was spent pleasantly.  Highlights included catching up with Rocknerd and LOH at the pub for a while, an excellent Sunday dinner and our neighbour dropping off a stash of homegrown tomatoes.

On another note, if you enjoy books and book-related interviews, I have a recommendation for you.  The singer, Dua Lipa, runs a monthly book club, in which she interviews authors about their books.  Her interviews are really well researched and insightful (and it’s not just me saying that) so I’ve been catching up with some of the older ones (all on YouTube).  I can particularly recommend her interviews with Patti Smith, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Hernan Diaz.  I think it’s great that she’s using her large following, gained through her musical career, to encourage people to read.
