Through the arch (and the Coffee Gang)
Drumming only happens during term time, and in the holidays some of the drummers meet up for coffee or, in the summer, a walk. This morning's walk was in Beaumont Park, on the outskirts of Huddersfield, and along the disused railway track. I'd never been to the park before, but it's definitely a place to go back to.
At the end of the planned walk, in the absence of a suitable café it was decided to walk a bit further, to the nearest pub. There we enjoyed lunch and cooling drinks, before walking back to the park and our cars. (The distance to the pub and back turned out to be as long as the actual walk!) A lovely morning. For the record, Keith took a photo of this week's Coffee Gang (extra).
Jazz Club with MrM this evening. Excellent as usual...
