Cycle Sunday

I do like bicycles so was rather taken with these two beauties tied up while their riders enjoyed some time at the beach. The leather saddles and dropped curvy frame and high rise handle bars on the rear bike are so charming (as well as practical).

I decided on a more restful day after the busyness of the last week. First though I wanted to get a batch made of cucumber relish and of plum jam. That done, Merlin was walked, the garden watered and then I gratefully sank into some soft cushions and spent a couple of hours listening to an audiobook, and perhaps a little dozing was done too!
