Another hour on the chainsaw!

I headed out the back this afternoon but didn’t make it past this fallen tree - it’s on the short section of track between the two halves of our farm and came down in the storm last week. It was dead already and fortunately I had the chainsaw so yet another ute load of firewood.
This area was at the centre of the bushfire that came through the property six years ago - it’s a great example of how eucalypts rapidly regenerate to the point where the only visible clue now is the blackened trunks.
