Beautiful wild flower meadow
Took Jimmy for a good leg stretch around Bootham Stray (known to locals as Heworth Stray). The area where all the ground was torn up to put in new local drainage work is still fenced up but has had large quatities of wild flower seeds scattered on the bare earth and we can now enjoy the results, lovely to see. Because of all the fencing I can now allow Jimmy to have a run around without his lead helping to his losing some excess weight and he so enjoys himself. I have included a couple of extras, one of Jimmy almost laughting in his joy and a view of the mature trees at the south end of the stray.
