The three C’s

Today’s blip is from the Abbeyhill Colonies, near to the dentist. I was seeing Natalia to get her take on my root canal work, 2 x 2 hour plus sessions at the end of September, eek!

Anyway, more joyfully, it’s the 20th anniversary of the annual Abbeyhill Colonies Arts Festival, happening on the 20th and 21st of September. The festival celebrates the three C’s: Creativity, Collaboration and Community, through a belief that art should be in local communities.

I enjoy walking round the colonies and looking at the amazing murals that have been painted on the sides of buildings.

Now back home and have spend the morning in the garden, mowing and cutting back a number of plants which threatening to engulf us.

Reading the latest Richard Osman book: We Solve Murders’ in the garden beckons this afternoon.
